EKAYA

What draws Ekaya, an inherently traditional sari brand, to Archana Rao's summer-friendly western ensembles? Ekaya associates itself closely with the identity of Benaras through its age-old craft of weaving rich saris that are likely candidates for heirlooms. Archana Rao's label 'Frou Frou' is an instant indication of the creator's love for pastels and feminine florals. Nostalgia is what brings the two brands together to create a special collection of saris inspired by the '70s style. "It is a very enriching and exciting partnership for us," says Palak Shah of Ekaya.
